Shaggydog was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina– he says that life in Newark, Delaware has been a huge improvement! Because of his mysterious background, no one is sure what kind of dog he is, but everyone agrees he is a sweetheart. Unlike his "Game of Thrones" direwolf namesake, Shaggydog doesn't have a fierce bone in his body; he's basically a giant teddy bear. He loves exploring the local parks and making friends (with humans, dogs, and cats) everywhere he goes.
HI shaggy dog I really enjoy reading to you . I hope you come again
When I read to Shaggydog on 3/18/15 he was very calm and well behaved. He was very nice and soft. In the middle when I was reading Fantastic Mr. Fox he decided to put his head on my lap. I think Shaggydog would probably be recommended for ages 8 & under because he was affectionate and he gives you much attention. If you get the chance you should definitely read to Shaggydog!
Hi Kaitlyn!
Thanks so much for coming to the library and reading to me– Roald Dahl is one of my favorite authors! So great to hear from you. Hope to see you again soon!
