My name is Lyle, and I am a 4 year old Golden Retriever. I got my name from the children's book, Lyle Lyle Crocodile. I even have a green leash because of it. My dad calls me a Golden Non-Retriever because I have no interest in retrieving anything. I was born on a farm outside of Philadelphia; my family thinks that's why I am so interested in other animals. I love to watch squirrels, birds, donkeys….you name it, I love them! At home, I am very happy to hang out with a bone or a squeaky toy, but when I am meeting new people, I am very energetic. I love children and am very happy to roll over on my back to get a good rub. The more attention I get, the happier I am.

It's really hard for me to name my favorite treat, because I like so many foods! I don't really like vegetables though. I especially like popcorn and hot dogs. Not together. ha ha!

Yes, I get a bath at home. I usually get the hose outside if the weather is warm. Sometimes, I use the bath tub, but it's a big mess! My favorite dog treat is hard to name. I really like to eat (cooked) chicken skin and I especially love the yolk in a hard boiled egg!

I absolutely love swimming! I go to Bark Park all the time and swim in the pond. Afterwards, I get a really good bath! Sometimes, I even see geese there. My only problem is that I can swallow a lot of water and then I cough! My family thinks it's funny, but I don't! I guess I should learn to keep me mouth closed. It's hard because I usually carry a stick in my mouth when I swim. Oh well. I still love it!
