Memorial & Tribute Gifts are meaningful and perfect at any time and for any occasion. They are gifts of remembrance, celebration, caring, gratitude, and love that also provide ongoing support to others.

Memorial Gifts

Making a gift In Memory of a loved one – a family member, friend, or co-worker – is a beautiful way to pay tribute to a special person and, at the same time, help provide the healing benefits of PAWS’ pet therapy to people in need. Whether your loved one was visited by PAWS, loved animals, or cared about helping people – this is a very meaningful gift that both remembers and provides ongoing support to our organization. This is also a wonderful way to express your sympathy upon the passing of a beloved pet.

You may wish to provide friends and family the opportunity to make a gift to PAWS for People, in lieu of flowers, after the loss of a loved one. PAWS appreciates your thinking of us at this difficult time and to make this process easier, we suggest that the following information be included in an obituary:

“In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS for People. Donations (checks payable to PAWS for People) can be mailed to: PAWS for People, PO Box 9955, Newark, DE 19714.”

Tribute Gifts

Making a gift In Honor is a perfect way to show that you care and want to recognize or celebrate just about anything such as:

– Special occasions – birthdays, anniversarys, holidays, or turn any day into a special day!
– Special people and pets – caregivers, teachers, neighbors, friends, family, and pets
– Special accomplishments – graduation, new job, reaching that big goal!
– OR simply telling someone Thank you, Cheer Up, or I’m thinking of you!

We are happy to work with you for special requests, such as donations to PAWS in lieu of wedding or birthday gifts, special holiday donations, and more. Please contact us in advance so that we can make arrangements to meet any deadlines you may have.

Acknowledgement

For both Memorial and Tribute gifts, PAWS for People will send an acknowledgement card to the designated family member or honoree (the name and mailing address to be provided by donor). We will notify them of your kindness – without stating the gift amount.
