Taylor was rescued from a very abusive residence, two years ago – she is 5 years old.
Keeshonden are very intelligent and have an inherent understanding of humans.
A Keeshond worked the 9/11 site as a sympathy companion.
Taylor visits with sick, injured, and distressed people and loves to have children read her their favorite storybook.
Dear Taylor,
Thank you for letting us read to you last month at the Media Library. We love dogs and we had so much fun reading to you. Mom was so impressed that shortly after reading to you we adopted our own dog from the SPCA! We read to her daily, but we still can't wait to see you again. Thanks for inspiring us. Now we have a new dog to love, too.
Love, Rebecca and Madison
P.S. Our dog's name is Dior and she's a poodle mix.
Dear Taylor,
You are a great dog. I hope you enjoyed my reading. You are patient, soft and fun to read to.I really hope to see you in two weeks.I also really like dogs.I had a lot of fun!
Sincerely,
Bea
Hi Taylor! ^,,^
It was so nice to meet you at the Media Library last month! Even though I'm a big kid, I want to thank your human companions for taking the time to talk with me and tell me YOUR story. I'm so glad you have a wonderful, loving home and have lots of friends who enjoy reading to you and give you hugs. You are such a wonderful, gentle giant. I hope to see you again!

can we visit that totally cute and fluffy guy!?
Taylor I loved your soft ears and when you put your big paw on my leg, I felt happiness. Thank you big wolf doggie. Josie
Thank you Josie. You made me feel very good. I like to be gently touched. It was very nice of you to rub me, that is why I felt not afraid and put my paw on you. I am sorry I did not answer you right away. My companion (handler) had to take me on a long trip, but now we are back home. We hope to see you again, because I like the stories you read.
Be well – Taylor
