We visited a picnic and fair for staff and residents. One Bissel coordinator specifically told us that he watched us as we went around the activities and he was so very pleased to see how everyone reacted in a calming positive manner to Taylor and our interaction with staff and residents. He said the dog really brought the tension down and he could observe residents melting from tenseness to a calmer happier time so that they seemed to enjoy the fair and that gave the staff a little break from constant monitoring of the residents.
