What Do You Do With the Dog – At Home?
Created by PAWS for People, What Do You Do with the Dog – At Home? is a 3-session series focusing on teaching parents how to incorporate their family pets into motivating, comforting, and supporting their special needs children in the home setting.
Research shows that interaction with trained therapy pets can provide encouragement and support for children who have special needs. We believe that your family pet can also provide many of the same benefits to your child and your family as a whole. Our trainers will work with the group as a whole and you individually to teach you how you can work with your child on many behaviors using the calming influence and innate intuition that your family pet can provide.
